PROPER HANGING AND CARE OF ARTWORK
Certain environmental conditions can, over time, seriously damage works of art. You may wish to follow these suggestions:
Heat: Do not hang art near sources of heat.
Light: Because sunlight is harmful to paper, inks, and colors, rooms where prints are hung should have weak daylight and should be illuminated with incandescent lighting, not fluorescent lighting. Prints exposed to sunlight will fade.
Humidity: If relative humidity is above 70%, dehumidify or air condition the room where the print is hanging. Humidity in the room should not be below 30%.
Pollution: A sealed frame will greatly reduce exposure to pollution. Your art is an investment as well as an object of aesthetic and sentimental value; therefore, care for it properly.
